Join hundreds of other volunteers, including groups from the boy scouts, girl scouts, local churches, community groups, and businesses, as we cleanup the litter from roadsides, parks, and school grounds.

The spring cleanup is a morning  of cleanup followed by pizza and games on the South Common. It is important to take time to thank volunteers and sponsors as well join the great community of Mansfield in fun and games.

How do I register for the Great Mansfield Cleanup?
We ask that you pre-register, registration will be open end of Feb. and will close at 5 p.m. on April 16th. After you pre-registered your precinct leader will be in touch a few weeks leading up to April 25th.If you have not registered by April 16th, we ask that you report to the Mansfield South Common starting at 8:30 a.m. on April 25 where you will be assigned your cleanup location. We do need to remind you that if you do not pre-register we can not guarantee you a tee shirt so please wear a BRIGHT tee shirt on the 25th.

What happens on the morning of April 25?
Simply report to your assigned cleanup route. If you did not pre-register, report to Fulton Pond at 8am
and we will assign you a cleanup route. Tee shirts will be provided to those who don’t already have a shirt
from a previous cleanup (while supplies last). Please wear your tee shirt for safety reasons.

What should I bring?
Please wear your Great Mansfield Cleanup tee shirt, as well as sturdy shoes. Gloves are recommended and will be
provided if you do not have your own. We recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves to protect against poison
ivy and ticks. A limited supply of trash grabber tools will also be available for loan.
